About this piece
A photograph of Sydney's Strand Arcade, transformed by paint and paper, becomes an echo of a place held in memory. Oh, Strand of a Memory holds the quiet hum of the arcade — iron balconies, glass light spilling through, and people drifting in its corridors.
Each piece I make begins with a photograph. Here, the Strand Arcade in Sydney, captured in 2025 and carried forward through paint and paper. What remains is not a reproduction, but an impression that carries the depth of both place and process.
